this is why, this is why, this is why im fat!!

(that is my take on Mims' hit song This is Why Im Hot. thank you. thank you. no need for a standing ovation. lol.)

that yummy plate of goodness above is really one of the many reasons why im (slowly?) gaining back the lbs that i lost for graduation just last march. (panic attack! har har) you see, i think i love food way too much!! aside from the fact that ive always been a frustrated chef, i always make sure that eating time is not just any ordinary eating time.. every meal should be as close to gourmet as possible!!


a while ago i was yet again bored that's why i decided to take our ulam up a notch. btw my mom's cooking is already great (or even better than your mom's!!) but i just love playing with my food that i just cant resist to tweak it up a bit!


i call my masterpiece, the CHEEZY BURGER AVALANCHE!!! (patent pending haha)
it consists of:

• pesto rice,
• creamy aioli sauce,
  
• 2 sirloin burgers, and
• CHEESE!!!

isnt that just amazing? *sigh* i personally made the pesto rice (with a secret ingredient that im not sharing, of course!) and the creamy aioli sauce. have i already mentioned that i make the best aiolo sauce? well, yes, i make the best aioli sauce!! its so good that ive thought of bottling it to make a fortune out of it!! SERIOUSLY!!

these individually crazy delicious elements were piled on top of the other and cooked in an oven for only about 10-15 mins.

you may say, "Don have a microwave, eh?"

NU-UH!! anything that's oven baked is way better than something that comes out after a minute from a microwave, and i swear by that! tell me, what could be better than cheese melting all over pesto rice that's smothered with aioli UNTIL its a tad crunchy on the outside?? exactly... NONE!!


actually i originally named it the Leaning Burger Mountain (patent pending also hahaha) until the burger on top began sliding entirely on the side because of the melted cheese!! (ahh what is it with just thinking and hearing bout melted cheese that makes you instantly hungry all the time??) and fyi, this plate serves two.... or one hungry hippo!! but, is better shared with someone else so you wont be the only one who'll get your mouth burned by the hot cheese!!
